How EasyTab uses text messaging — effective July 21, 2026
EasyTab sends a small number of automated text messages (SMS) to help keep your account secure. This page explains exactly what we send, when we send it, how you consent, and how to stop the messages at any time.
1. Program summary
| Program name | EasyTab Account Verification & Password Reset |
|---|---|
| Operated by | EasyTab LLC |
| Message type | Transactional one-time passcodes (2FA). We never send marketing or promotional texts. |
| Message frequency | Only when you ask for a code — when you create an account, or when you request a password reset. There are no scheduled or recurring messages. |
| Cost | EasyTab does not charge for these messages. Message and data rates may apply from your carrier. |
| Sender | A United States toll-free number, shown as the sender on every message. |
| Support | support@easytab.app |
2. How you opt in
You opt in by asking us for a code. There is nothing to subscribe to, and nothing about text messaging is bundled into creating an account — signing up does not sign you up for messages. Every message we send is one you requested moments earlier by tapping a button.
Before you tap it, this notice appears on the screen, directly above the button:
That tap is the opt-in: an affirmative act, for one message, at the moment you want it. If you never tap it, we never text you. Asking for a password reset code later is a separate request that shows the same notice again.
We only ever text a number that you typed in yourself. We never add a number from a purchased list, a referral, or anyone else's contacts, and we never send marketing or promotional messages of any kind.
3. The flow, step by step
Two situations cause EasyTab to text you, and nothing else does. In both, the message is something you asked for a moment earlier — there is nothing to subscribe to and nothing to agree to when you sign up.
Verifying your number when you create an account
You create your account
Name, mobile number, password, and an email address if you want one. Nothing on this screen signs you up for text messages — there is no messaging consent bundled into creating an account, and submitting this form sends you nothing.

Create your account
Split the check in seconds — no math, no drama.
Used to sign you in and to secure your account.
You ask us to text you a code
This is the opt-in. The next screen shows the number you entered and tells you exactly what will happen if you tap the button. Tapping it is your request for one message. If you never tap it, we never text you.

Confirm your number
To secure your account, we can text you a 6-digit code to confirm this number is yours.
EasyTab will text a one-time code to this number — one message each time you ask for one. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out, or email support@easytab.app for help.
See our SMS Terms and Privacy Policy.
We only send a message when you tap the button above.
We send one code
One message, to the number shown, containing a 6-digit code that expires in 10 minutes. One tap, one message — nothing recurring, and nothing promotional. The exact wording is in section 4.
You enter the code
Typing the code back confirms the number is yours. A code can only be used once, and after a few wrong attempts it stops working and you have to ask for a new one. You can request another if the first does not arrive.

Verify your number
Enter the 6-digit code we just texted you.
Standard message & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any message to opt out.
Resetting your password
You ask for a reset code
A separate request, made only when you need it — verifying your number earlier does not cause reset codes, and nothing you agreed to at sign-up does either. You enter the mobile number on your account and tap the button, and the same disclosure appears before you do.

Reset your password
Enter the mobile number on your account and we'll text you a one-time code.
EasyTab will text a one-time code to this number — one message each time you ask for one. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out, or email support@easytab.app for help.
See our SMS Terms and Privacy Policy.
We send one code
A single reset code, again valid for 10 minutes and usable once. It tells you to ignore the message if you did not request it, so an unexpected code is recognisable as somebody else trying to get into your account.
You enter the code and choose a new password
Entering the code proves you control the number, and you set a new password on the same screen. The code is consumed at that point and cannot be reused.

Enter your code
Enter the reset code we texted you, then choose a new password.
Reply STOP to any message to opt out of SMS.
4. Messages you will receive
These are the only two messages this program sends, exactly as they arrive:
Sent when you create an account, to confirm the number is yours.
Sent only when you request a password reset.
Codes are 6 digits, expire after 10 minutes, and can be used once. EasyTab will never contact you to ask for a code. Anyone who does is attempting fraud — do not share it.
As they look on a handset:
Sample automated (A2P) messages sent from the EasyTab toll-free number.
5. How to stop messages
Reply STOP to any message from our number to opt out. You will get a single confirmation that you have been unsubscribed, and no further messages will be sent to that number.
Because these texts are how we confirm it is really you, opting out also turns off SMS-based account verification and password reset for that number. To start receiving them again, reply START or UNSTOP, or simply request a new code in the app.
STOP and START are handled by your mobile carrier rather than by us, so they take effect immediately and work whatever state your EasyTab account is in.
6. How to get help
Email support@easytab.app and a person will answer. Our toll-free number sends codes and understands the carrier keywords above, but it is not a support channel — we cannot read anything else you text to it, so please use email rather than replying to a message.
7. Carrier support and delivery
Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery depends on your carrier and your device, and we cannot guarantee that any individual message arrives. If a code does not reach you, request another one or use the email option instead.
8. Your information
Your mobile number is used to deliver these messages and to secure your account. We do not sell, rent, or share your mobile number or SMS consent with third parties for their own marketing. Messages are delivered through our messaging provider solely so that they can be sent to you. Full details are in our Privacy Policy.
