EasyTab ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your personal information when you use the EasyTab mobile application and related services (collectively, the "App"). By using EasyTab, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

1. Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of personal information when you register and use EasyTab:

a. Information You Provide

• Full name and email address
• Phone number
• Payment information processed securely through our third-party payment processor, Stripe

b. Information Collected Automatically

• Device information (device type, operating system)
• App usage data and interaction logs
• IP address, collected to enforce rate limiting and protect against abuse
• Receipt images uploaded by you, stored via Microsoft Azure Blob Storage
• Structured receipt data extracted from your images, including merchant name, transaction date, subtotal, tax, tip, total, and individual line items — stored in EasyTab's database and processed using Azure Document Intelligence
• Authentication session data, including encrypted refresh tokens and their expiry timestamps, stored server-side to keep you securely logged in
• Subscription status (whether your account has an active subscription), stored in EasyTab's database

c. Third-Party Linked Accounts (Future Feature)

We may in the future offer the ability to link your Venmo profile for display purposes within the App. If and when this feature is introduced, we will update this Privacy Policy accordingly. EasyTab will not process payments through Venmo.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Create and manage your EasyTab account
• Facilitate bill and tab splitting between users
• Process payments securely through Stripe
• Analyze and extract receipt data using Azure Document Intelligence
• Store receipt images via Azure Blob Storage
• Communicate with you about your account or app updates
• Improve and maintain the App's functionality and performance
• Comply with legal obligations

3. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share your information with the following third parties solely to operate and improve the App:

• Stripe – for secure payment processing. Stripe's privacy policy is available at stripe.com/privacy.
• Microsoft Azure – for receipt image storage (Azure Blob Storage) and receipt data extraction (Azure Document Intelligence). Microsoft's privacy practices are available at microsoft.com/privacy.

We may also disclose your information if required to do so by law or in response to valid legal process.

4. Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you with the App's services. At this time, EasyTab does not offer a self-service account or data deletion feature. If you wish to request deletion of your data, please contact us at the email address listed in Section 9 below, and we will process your request in accordance with applicable law.

5. Children's Privacy

EasyTab is not directed at children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are between the ages of 13 and 18, please review this policy with a parent or guardian before using the App. If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a child under 13 without verifiable parental consent, we will take steps to delete that information promptly.

6. Data Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, loss, or misuse. Payment information is handled exclusively by Stripe and is not stored on EasyTab's servers. Receipt data is stored using Microsoft Azure's secure cloud infrastructure.

However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security of your data.

7. Your Rights and Choices

Depending on your state of residence, you may have certain rights regarding your personal information, including:

• The right to know what personal information we have collected about you
• The right to request correction of inaccurate information
• The right to request deletion of your personal information
• The right to opt out of certain data uses

California Residents (CCPA): If you are a California resident, you have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), including the right to know the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you, the right to delete your personal information, and the right to non-discrimination for exercising your privacy rights. To submit a CCPA request, please contact us using the information in Section 9.

8. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the Effective Date at the top of this document. We encourage you to review this policy periodically to stay informed about how we protect your information. Your continued use of EasyTab after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
